It should give you also the option of send to: create a desktop shortcut.
did you go just unto the folder or into the folder and then the exe file of
the desired program? the later should give you the option above.

On a friend's computer we wanted to send a shortcut to the desktop. We

down to Send To, and pressed enter. Her choices here are Compressed Zip
Folder, My Documents, & Skype. That is it. How do we add Desktop (create
