this is odd, I just tried the way you said you are going about it. sounds
right and when I get to send to the first option i run into is the very
first option 'desktop ( create shortcut)' may i ask what program you are
trying to shortcut?

We are going to the program that we want to make a shortcut for in the
start
menu. We then press the applications key, then arrow to "Send To", press
enter, and there are no choices for Desktop create shortcut or Mail
Recipient and want to add these 2 choices to the "Send To" menu. Thanks
