Hi Gerald,

This is a question directly opposite of Rogelio's. How would I put
something into the system tray? For Example; If I wanted CCleaner, for
instance, to run out of the system tray, how could I make this happen? All
advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, take care.
Mike

Follow these steps to remove unwanted icons from the System Tray:

1. Press Windows key, then Escape.
2. Tab to the Task Bar and press Alt-Enter to bring up the Task Bar
Properties dialog.
3. On the Task Bar page, tab to the Notification area customize dialog and
hit Enter.
4. Arrow down the list of icons and find the icon you want to remove or
"hide". Press the right arrow to the combo box and select "always hide".
5. Repeat step 4 for each icon you want to hide.
6. Tab to Okay, hit Space and tab again to Okay and hit Space. That's it.

BTW: MalwareBytes is another free alternative to Super Anti Spyware, but you
can use both if you want, as long as you run them at different times.
