Are you saying then, that though it sounds an alarm and says that another folder is using i.e., that it still compacts or does whatever it's supposed to do?? I read about that on the internet. Or I Googled it up. It said, that you should let it run it's course without interruption. It does actually free up some space. I don't exactly remember all the specifics, but I know to let it compact.
