hi Rogelio

looks like I've solved my gmail problem.

I went through all my settings and found one item. I'm not sure how this item got changed but when I changed it all of a sudden I didn't get the log on screen when sending mail.

if anyone wants to know what the solution was, I'd attempt to explain. I'm not that good at it lol.

thanks to those who replied though.

Elaine

It has done that to me before. The one that did it was my Yahoo account. I also have Gmail and it works fine. Did you make sure the remember dialog box was checked?

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Annoying problem with gmail

Hi folks

can anyone help me with this annoying problem I have with gmail?

I am using outlook express to read my gmail and for some unknown reasons each time I go to send an email I get a pop up where I have to insert my username and password before my mail is sent.

does any one know how to fix this so it doesn't keep asking me?

I've tried re installing my account but it doesn't solve the problem.

thanks in advance.

Elaine
