I tried to follow your instructions and there seems to be no: all files, in 
the file types, any other suggestions??  Do I have to store all my pictures 
in jpg??  thanks, Don

Hi Don,
As with most applications, when browsing for a file type,
only the ones that can be used will show up during the browsing.
For instance, if you have chosen to insert a .jpg file into a message,
that is the only file type that will show up while browsing.
When the insert picture dialogue opens,
spacebar the browse button.
as you tab thru the dialogue, you are presented with a list of file types.
At the bottom of this list, you will find, all files, *.*.
Once you have this selected, proceed thru the browse dialogue to locate the
file you want.
If you need more help, just sing out.
