I am not sure how to give you specific directions, but I can give you a couple of leads. 1. Go to the Tools menu (Alt + t). Arrow down to the "Manage Add-ons..." (a), then select "Enable or Disable Add-ons..." (e). You might need to investigate a little to check if the Add-on you are interested in is enabled. 2. Make sure that ActiveX and other Add-ons are not disabled under the security tab of the Internet Options. Let me know if you need more specific help.
