Thanks for answering my email yesterday. I'm sorry that I haven't been able
too get back too you sooner then today. I did try the suggestions that you
gave me, but I didn't see anything in there under tools in internet explorer
8, in mannaging add ons for enabling active x control. If you, or anyone
else has further suggestions on how to turn on this type of control
functionality, I would appreciate it. Thanks for helping me,

I am not sure how to give you specific directions, but I can give you a
couple of leads.
1. Go to the Tools menu (Alt + t). Arrow down to the "Manage Add-ons..."
(a), then select "Enable or Disable Add-ons..." (e). You might need to
investigate a little to check if the Add-on you are interested in is
enabled.
2. Make sure that ActiveX and other Add-ons are not disabled under the
security tab of the Internet Options.
