Hi Lois, 1.Open Winamp. 2. Press control plus p for preferences. 3. Press F until you hear "File Types".
4. Tab through the resulting set of controls; Check or press the spacebar on the types of associations you want. There is a checkbox for Audio Cd's in there as well. You may want to turn off Winamp Agent as it can be annoying. 5. Tab to and press the spacebar on Close.
