Mike, And you can if you buy the professional version. However, I don't find it too inconvenient to set it to scan once a week while I'm having lunch , supper or something else for an hour or so.

I have been using Avast for well over a year and like it very much. The only thing I don't like about it, is that you have to use it manually and can't program it to run on a schedule. Take care. Jaws doesn't work in that mode. Before you tried to uninstall Avast, did you disable it / turn it off through the system tray? I know that you can't uninstall a program if it is running in the background. If anything I have said here is wrong, would someone jump in and set me straight? Take care. How do I do that? I cannot understand why these programs are so difficult to manage. marilyn For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
