Please don't let this put you off upgrading to Windows 7. I believe FS are doing all they can to get this issue resolved. But what with implications and thousands if not millions of hardware and software configurations out there they cannot possibly test all the bugs that exist with JFW11 and Windows 7. For the most part everything will work fine; it's just some things, like installing iTunes, that can ruin the authorization and thus require reactivation. Just my thoughts from a hobbyist programmer.
