Hi,
Try it to find in
msconfig on tab startup. Or you can remove it from the system. I think,
that when you installed is MSN Messenger, next is windows messenger and now
is windows live messenger. 3 different programs.
With best regards,
Marek Durila

Hi, Jim,
What's happening is that windows messenger is still starting when my
computer boots up. It's asking me for my display name. I already saved
everything when I first set up windows messenger several years ago. I even
wrote to microsoft and I don't think they plan to fix it. I unchecked the
box for messenger not to start every time I boot up the computer. I also
unchecked the box for messenger not to ask me to log on with outlook
express.
I don't know what else to do anymore. I think the problem is on microsoft's
end now.
Rosemarie
