Hi,
When I install OS, I'm having two options:
1. Remove Messenger from the installation, for example N-Lite is a great
option.
2. After installation go to the drive\windows\inf, find sysoc.inf, open in
notepad and remove all hyde, it'll give me a lot of possibility, what can I
remove from the systems tools.
But I don't know, why is there messenger two-x.
I hope, that it'll help.

With best regards,
   Marek Durila

The problem is that the old messenger was famous for ignoruing those kind
of
settings. To take it out of start up is good advise. Selective start up
does
not bother anything. As long as you know what to keep and what to dump lol.
I clean my start up out everytime I install a new OS also to disable
messenger and some of the other nuisances in 'services' will do the trick

Hi,
doing the below will force Ms-Config into selective startup mode, it's
always better to take the program out of startup within its own options.
The
different messenger clients have a checkbox for that under I believe,e
tools/options.

ah ok. Also reading your last message something you can try is to go into
run and type in msconfig. When it opens control tab to start up tab and
uncheck the thing that pertains to windows messenger. When done hit ok and
you will need to reboot. When this happens messenger should no longer start
up. Hope this helps.
