Gerald, yesterday, shortly after your message concerning sluggishness on web pages, I tried a ny times link and, along with the Phrase the I E coul not open the web page, i got a script error message. I don't know what any of this means but I, like you, have been able to exit and close windows and then return to the start menu. marilyn
