Hi, As far as nls players, they have two kinds--the regular one and an advanced version. The way that the advanced is different is you can put bookmarks in certain portions of your book or something. The digital books you can download end in zip so you have to extract the files and copy them onto a cartridge or flash or thumb drive but I'm not sure if the nls machines will do what you want.

Thanks. That prompts another question. The NLS version of the VR Stream... would it also play books I download from Bookshare? I mean if I can borrow the NLS player and it's versatile enough for my needs, it might be better than buying one since they aren't cheap. Maybe. -----Original Message----- On Behalf Of Marilyn Walker Chris, if you are in the U S, you are eligible to receive a free versioin of the nls v r stream in the talking books program. To buy your own, just Google the term and see what comes up. I think the price will be the same regardless of vendor-sort of price fixing . Humanware.com was involved in the invention of the vrs. The others are vendor/resellers so checking warranties would be a good idea If AMazon.com has it, it may be free shipping from Amazon. marilyn For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
