The easiest way I have found to write checks is to use my bank's online bill
pay service. I set up bill pay with the company or person I need to pay,
and the bank will either make an electronic transfer or send a check through
the regular mail. I use Bank of America and the bill pay service is free.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] A way to write checks
Dear Tom,
That is just about what I do!
Except I use a Word doc file!
The only thing is I have to use that removable Scotch Tape, it is number
811, which sticks about like a post it note, it sticks but is easily
removed, to attach my check to the top left hand corner of a letter size
sheet of paper to run it through my printer!
The checks are just too too small to run through my HP 950c printer!
I usually print all my monthly checks at one setting, so I just use one
sheet of paper!
But I have been doing it like that for many years!
With Best Regards,
Alan

Subject: [Blind-Computing] A way to write checks
Awhile back I wrote in about my difficulty getting the Check Writer
program to work.
I didn't hear any suggestions, so this is what I did.
With a bunch of trial and error, I made an Excell file that will print
the information to the correct places on a check.
Just thought I'd pass along the idea, if someone else is looking for an
economical way of getting this done.
Blessings,
Tom
