You'd better install one of the latest versions of Winamp, not version 2
which is an old one. The newer versions have more features and work
very well in terms of accessibility. I had version 5.35 installed in my
machine for years, however, i've upgraded to version 5.572 recently.
This latter works quite well except that i need to rely on jaws
cursoring while assigning hotkeys. Jaws has built-in scripts for winamp
that allow you to get very useful information quickly, but still there
is a very good script developed by ultra universe which give you a
better experience using winamp; as it offers additional facilities and
keystrokes.
As for WMP, i really don't like it as I have to tab all along the window
to get to do something easy like forwarding ... Winamp really is the
best for me
Hope this helps

Hi All;
I am thinking about installing WinAmp 2.80. Do I need to uninstall WMP11
first? What are the differences between WinAmp 2.80 and WinAmp versions
504, 508, 534,& 535? I am just trying to decide which of the WinAmp
programs to go with. Also, should the plug-ins be installed with the
program that I decide to go with? I am running XPSP3 Home& Jaws 10 latest.
All help will be deeply appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
Mike
