Tell us the name of your video card and we may be able to tell you where to get it from. No it does not have to be from the HP site. In fact the HP site may still have outdated drivers. So it's best to get them from the manufacturers direct.

It looks like I need an updated driver for my HP Pavilion ZD7000 laptop in
order for it to install video intercept. Yeah, I'm still trying to work on
this problem.

My question is:

Because I can't seem to not only download that driver, but I can't even find
the thing on the HP site. Is it necessary to use an HP driver and if not, what
can I substitute for it and where can I get what I need?

Thanks for any help here.
