Hi Arianna,
When you are going thru the install, the files should have a default path,
which can be changed if you wish to do so.
The default will probably be on the C drive, and have a name such as, cabs,
or NVidia.
In the install dialogue, the file path should be given, and the next tab
should be a browse button.
If this is the case, just let it install where it is set to, noting that
location, and when that process is complete, go to the specified folder, and
run the setup.exe.
As Jacob said, these packages do vary, so you will have to proceed with
extracting the files, and
follow the prompts, and let us know if you need more help.

When I tried to go through the installation process it wanted to know

Generally that would carry out a real install process, copying files
where needed, and notifying the operating system about them etc., so,

If you go here, you'll then need to select which version of that model,
and then you will hopefully be taken to the driver download section of
the HP site for the specific model's driver software:

There's a table on that page with links to specific model versions.

It looks like I need an updated driver for my HP Pavilion ZD7000
laptop in order for it to install video intercept. Yeah, I'm still
trying to work on this problem.
My question is:
Because I can't seem to not only download that driver, but I can't
even find the thing on the HP site. Is it necessary to use an HP
driver and if not, what can I substitute for it and where can I get
what I need?
