Hi, David,

I couldn't find where it says delete gmail services. The only thing I found was
delete gmail perminently. When I got to the box that says new email address, I
typed in my verizon address but I got a message saying "a user with that
username already exists". I am that user. What do I do now?

Rosemarie

  Hi Rosemarie;

You can delete Gmail from your Google Account at any time. If you're sure
you won't use Gmail in the future, please follow these steps to delete it:

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account.

  2. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page.

you may be able to tab until you hear settings, press enter.

  3. Click Accounts in the Settings menu bar.

now, you can arrow to this point, once you find accounts, press spacebar,

  4. Click Google Account settings.

so, once you've arrowed to Google account settings, press spacebar.

  5. Click the Edit link next to My products.

here, you would press the enter key on the edit field,

  6. Click Delete Gmail Service and fill in the required fields.

  I hope this helps.

  Hi, everyone,

I'm trying to delete my gmail account but I'm stuck on the part that says
"new email address". When I type in my verizon email address, it says that a
user with this name already exists. I am that user. What do I do in this
case? Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks for your help in advance.

  Rosemarie
