Hi, Deanne,
Thanks very much. I did as you instructed and it really helped.

Rosemarie:
Your AVG may be popping up with a message while you are going through your
emails. If you open AVG and find the components menu, arrow down to Email
and press enter, tab about three times and you will find an option
displaying notifications while your email is being scanned. Uncheck this
option, tab to okay and press enter. If AVG is interfering with your
email,
this should stop the problem.

Deanne

Hi, Don,
I'm thinking of witching to microsoft security essentials too. I think
AVG
is interfering with some of my emails. Sometimes when I'm writing
something, Jaws will stop talking but I think it's brobably AVG and not
Jaws.

I also ended up removing this software that came preinstalled on my
laptop.
It was not accessible and slowed down my computer.
I use the free and very accessible Microsoft Security Essentials.

There may not be a way to fix your problem with Trend Micro and JAWS.
I
had a very bad experience with JAWS and Trend Micro's PC Cillin. I ran
the 30 day trial and it conflicted so badly with JAWS that I
uninstalled
it and bought another antivirus program. However, I could not get rid
of
all the Trend Micro files on my laptop. There is still a folder, two
years later, in my C:/program files called Trend Micro and I can't
delete
it. Tech support at Freedom Scientific has also confirmed to me that
Trend Micro does not tend to work very well with JAWS. I wish I could
be
more positive, I used to love Trend Micro.

Hello everyone
Is anyone using Trend Micro securities as your anti virus protection?
On
July 7 there was an update to Micro Trend and at the same time JAWS
became very sluggish. Does anyone have a fix for this problem? your
response will be appreciated.
