That is the good thing about checking that in jaws 10 any other one that
was set to start up will be no longer.

hello Jacob
as far as i know nothing is in the start up
and i have no idea on how to assign jaws 10 to the start up section
i looked in the jaws 10 folder and can find no way of adding it to
the start up or making it the default reader
can you give me a step guide
thank you
Yvonne

In your start menu, do you have entries for both jaws 9 and jaws 10?
Generally installing a new version will not really replace a prior
version, just override it as such, so if you double check versions
installed, and make sure, for example that the shortcut on the
desktop to start jaws with is the one for jaws 10, and that it is
the one with the general ctrl + alt + J keyboard shortcut assigned,
then you could make sure jaws 9 isn't set to start automatically in
it's basic settings dialogue, then close it, start jaws 10, and
check that it is in fact set to start automatically.
