Hi Wayne, not in this case. I only had this problem of jaws only saying top of window and bottom of window when I went to the file menue. when I down loaded the new program update to avast 5.0.677 It happened because in the new program update to avast the context menue is no longer accessible to Jaws and when I tried to access the context menue for avast Jaws lost all focus. but I have now fixed the problem by not using the context menue for avast. thanks anyway
