Hi Yvonne;

You need to go into the default configuration manager to make this change.
To do this , do the following;
1. Press the Jaws / Insert key + the number 6 key on the number row above
all the letter keys. OR, another way is, press the Jaws / Insert key + F2
key and arrow down to configuration manager and press enter.
2. Press control, shift, + D to open the default configuration manager.
3. Press Alt + S to open the Set Options menu.
4. Press enter on User Options or press the letter U, and User Options will
open.
5. Your first choice in User Options will be, Announce progress bar updates
combo box, arrow up or down to 5 Second Intervals, this is the default
setting.
6. Tab to okay, press enter Or spacebar, press control + S to save your
changes, and press Alt + F4 to close the default configuration manager.

I think this is what you are wanting and hope these steps have helped. Take
care.
Mike

Hi Yvonne;

Yes, the numeric key lock should be off but, the slash, left mouse click
button, that Chris is referring to is directly above, / on top of, the
numeric 8 key. Hope this helps. Take care.

Hi Yvonne;

Chris meant the " slash " key. It is on the top row of your number pad.
Here is how your top row of your number pad is layed out from left to
right.
1. First key on the left is your num lock key, this turns your number pad
on
/ off.
2. The 2nd key from the left is the slash key. It is called the num pad
slash key by keyboard help. This key is the same as clicking the left
mouse
button.
3. The 3rd button from the left is the star key. It is called the num
pad
star key by keyboard help. pressing this key is the same as clicking the
right mouse button.
4. The 4th / last key from the left is the minus key. It is called num
pad
minus by keyboard help. This key activates the Jaws cursor.

Hope this has helped. Take care.
Mike

Press the left mouse button, num pad slash on a desktop and caps lock

Hi Pete;

Try doing the following in IE. IE7 & IE8 might vary a little bit but,
once
you get in there you'll gitur done.
In IE do an Alt+T, down arrow to pop up sub menu, If pop up blocker is
active, then hit enter to inactivate pop ups. This setting is a
toggle.
There are other settings in this menu if you need these additional
settings.
Hope this helps. Take care.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] How to stop Netflicks pop-ups

Hello all. For the past several weeks it seems as though Netflicks
adds show
up even when I'm either at my home page or surfing the web. I'm not
even
sure if this is really a pop-up ad but don't know what else to call
it. How
can I stop this annoying ad from appearing? Any suggestions are
welcome.
