Did you check the box that says do not use dvd menus? That might help.

Hi Jacob,

I tried this, but when I arrow down on navigation, I get "empty - unavailable".

The DVD I have is That 70's show with the 1st 5 or so shows on it. When I put the DVD in, it does recognize that this is indeed the That's 70's show DVD. I haven't tried any other DVD's because I don't have any. We just signed up for Netflix, so this is the 1st DVD we've received.

Menu system activated with alt key, over to navigation menu item, arrow down to track, right arrow, and then arrow up and down to something like title1, and hit enter.

Stay well

Hi,

I've installed the older, more blind friendly version of VLC. (0.8.6i) Now, what steps do I take to look at the directory of the files/track on the DVD, select one and simply start playing that track?

Thanks,

Ken
