Yes, I too agree that this is a major thumbs down on Windows 7's explorer utility, but hopefully a service pack is in the works to address this problem. It is very common and it isn't just us, its many other people.
I hope I didn't come off too strong, but my goal was to persuade others to think about their problems in a more objective and methodical manner and not just, I haven't heard about this so it must not exist.
