I use windows XP pro, with IE8, and while haven't tried it with older
versions, it's worked for me with both jaws10 and currently jaws11, but
anyway...
Haven't gotten windows update turned on, but my current version of IE8 is
the following from virtualised about dialogue:
Version: 8.0.6001.18702
Really can't imagine what's causing this, but is it on all webpages?
Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Problem after internet explorer 8 update
Dear Listers,
On a pc still using jaws 9 and windows xp, Windows Update installed
IE8.
Then links were inaccessible.
I managed to uninstall it and IE7 was
restored. However, links still appear to be completely inaccessible with
the
virtual cursor.
So I installed jaws 11, without better result.
Can I do anything to restore my access to links and other
information like headings etc?
Thanks very much in advance.
Riana
