Well, if there is only 1 DVD drive on the computer then it's a pretty good 
guess your thumb drive will be E:\. I would place a music file named 123.mp3 
in your thumb drive to then type in run box any of the following:
e:\123.mp3
f:\123.mp3
g:\123.mp3
and so on.
Once you determine the correct drive then do the same for the NVDA 
installer. I would also stick in the thumb drive a copy of Jaws and window 
eyes just in case NVDA fails.

Andre, this will be my next move.  Right now I have several files on my
thumb drive, so I have to take some of them off and just leave NVDA, for
instance.

I'll let you know what happens.

One other thing:  I don't know which drive my thumb drive would be, but I'll
give it a try.
