hello Mike
this may of done the trick
will keep a watch on new email and see if when it reads the subject line if
it reads part of the body of the message
so far since doing this alteration it has not.
so hopefully this has worked.
i note that some have the same amount of pixels this being 155.
and some have a lower amount which varies as i go from one to the other.
and should they not all be the same for example to, from, subject should
they not all be 155?
and some were checked and a couple were not.
i have checked them all.
is this a wise thing to do?
or will it not make any difference if i check them all
and one last thing why are some checked and some unchecked what is the
difference?
once again thank you for your most valued assistance in things i need to
know and of course this group for being what it is and that is helping
people
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne;
To shorten the width of your subject line do the following;
1. Press Alt + V, for the view menu.
2. Arrow down to columns & press enter, or just press the letter C, after
pressing Alt + V.
3. Arrow down to " Subject, " now tab down to " pixels wide", use your
backspace key to backspace this number out, after clearing this number
type
in 400, this is what I keep my subject line at, & now tab to okay & press
enter.
