Hi Yvonne; Is " Yvonne Oliver " in your address book more than 1 time? If so, and each entry has a different email address, you can have each entry display differently so that you will know which is which. You can this by doing the following. 1. Open the first Yvonne Oliver entry. 2. Control + tab to the name page. 3. Tab 4 times to the " display " edit field. Here it probably says " Yvonne Oliver " but, you can change this to something like " Yvonne Oliver1 " or something like that. 4. Now, tab to okay & press enter. 5. Now go open your other Yvonne Oliver entry and follow steps 1 & 2. 6. Tab 4 times to the display edit field & if it says Yvonne Oliver here also, add a " 2 " to it so it reads " Yvonne Oliver 2 ." Tab to okay & press enter.
Now you will know which entry is for each email and you can differentiate between the 2. This 1 way to tell the difference between the 2 email addresses. Now, to answer your question about how to tell which email adddress is your default email address. If your name is in the address book 2 times with each entry having a different email address & when you open each entry, you will land on the Summary page, tab 1 time to the email address field, & whatever email address is showing here is your default email address. Another way to tell what your default email address is, do the following. 1. Open the Windows Address Book. 2. Open an entry that you know has an email address in it. I say this because I have entries that don't have email addresses. 3. Control + tab 1 time to the name page. 4. Tab until you hear " list of emails, list view ." I think you will have to tab 7 times to get there. 5. If there are more than 1 email address here, you can arrow up & down the list and the default email address will say " default email ." 1 Other thing I should mention here is that in the Windows Address Book, if the address book is sorted by name, the entries are sorted by the way they appear in the Display edit field on the name page. As I explained earlier in this post, this display edit field can be altered to show something different than what is in the first, middle, & last name edit fields at the beginning of the Name Page. I know all this sounds confusing as hell but, with a little playing around with the display edit field, I think you will understand what I am trying to say. 1 thing to remember is that anytime you make a change to an entry, tab to okay & press enter to save your changes. If you don't tab to okay & press enter, & close without doing so, the changes will not be save. I sure hope this has helped. Take care.
