And, if you tab around the email message, or try something like alt + 6
twice to focus on subject, and then tab once, which should normally land you
in the attachments list, what happens...?
Alternatively, it's possible your attachments are being blocked by your
anti-virus, or outlook express itself.
For OE, in tools menu, options, on something like the security page, there's
an item somewhere there to make it block attachments if it thinks they might
not be safe, and you could try turning that one off, tab to and hit space
bar on ok button, and then maybe just close outlook express, and restart it
to see if the attachments are still being hidden.

hi
for some unknown reason since yesterday when i get an email that has an
attachment i am no longer able to open the attachment
all that happens is i get the bing sound that windows produces when a
command can't be executed.
i press insert a and i tried alt a but none of these have any affect
can someone tell me how i can get back to outlook express being able to
open attachments?
i know these have attachments because they are a daily update
this also applies to voicemail messages that i get
