Arianna, you can't move it from Other to Network Adaptors yourself,
Windows has to do that for you. I am sure if you arrow to the adaptor in
Other Devices and press the context menu key and arrow to Properties and
press ENTEr and then read the ensuing dialog with the JAWS cursor (or
equivalent) you will find that no driver is installed. No matter what it
won't be recognized in the Network Adaptors section until a proper
adaptor is installed. From your description it almost sounds like a
Netgear WPN111 which most certainly requires a driver to be installed.

I wondered about that when I saw it there, but if it has to be in
network
