Hi Alan; Do you have the drivers downloaded onto your computer? If they are downloaded, do you know where they are? Lastly, if you know where they are, do they end with, .e x e? If they end with the, .e x e, file extension, all you have to do is click on them & they'll install into the correct place. Hope this helps. Take care. Dear Friends, Please do not laugh! But, I finally found out what kind of FAX / Modem I have in my computer, and now I want to download the Device Drivers, so I can fax using my Open Book's FAX option. But when I do download the Device Drivers, how do I install them? I say Drivers instead of Driver, because the Dell Technician said there were 2 Device Drivers for this particular FAX / Modem. Conexant D850 56K v.9x Then, we lost it, as he wanted me to click on graphical things on the Dell Support page, and I could not read them, and this guy was a bit ... well shall we say not used to working with a Blind person using Text to Speech software, and more or less freaked out! LOL! It is not the first time I have had to leave a Technician Support person, as they were speechless! LOL! Well, part of being a Blind computer user I suppose. Anyway, I know what kind of FAX / Modem I now have, that much I will give him credit for, but now, I want to try to do this on my own, as dealing with a "Freaked out Technician" is not really fun, if you know what I mean. LOL! Thanks friends! With Best Regards, Alan Miami, Florida Alan Dicey, President United States Braille Chess Association - USBCA "Yes, Blind and Visually Impaired People, Can, and Do, Play Chess!"
