Niamh,
Bob replied to you and what he said is what I was trying to tell you.
However, he explained it better than I did.
The only thing that I can think of is perhaps you didn't use the Jaws cursor?
I hope that you can get it to work since I do this all the time and
it works like a charm for me.
Take care.

I never find "modified" no matter how hard I search.

Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] document files listed by date
Hi,
Here is what I do. There may be a better and easier way.
I open the folder and route Jaws to PC. Then I arrow up until I
here name. I then do insert+numPad6 until I hear date modified. I
move the cursor to modified and left click on the NumPad. This will
sort in date order in ascending order. Repeating this step will
change it to descending order.
To sort alphabetically again, repeat the steps mentioned above and
left click on name.
Hope this works for you. Take care.

Using Jaws 12 and XP how do I list files by date rather than in
alphabetical order?
I keep going around in circles.
I was sure I found it on the archive but can't re-locate the information.
Niamh PS since using the archive I realise the important of
making the subject line clear. Sorry about the past David.
