Hi Kimsan; I'm not Bob but, here you go. Take care. Mike
From: Bob J. Niamh, First off, nobody has specified how you are displaying the files of which you speak. I will assume that you are displaying that list in the "list view" of "windows explorer." If this assumption is inaccurate, all the following is possibly inaccurate. At the top of the list of files is a line containing column headings. The column headings can differ from one user's computer to another user's computer because the user can select which file descriptors to be displayed. You will need to use the JAWS CURSOR to navigate to these column headings. When you have placed the JAWS CURSOR on the appropriate column heading, click the left mouse button to sort the list by the values in that column. Clicking a second time on that same heading will sort in the reverse order from the first sorted order. HINT: Sometimes, this only works properly when the JAWS CURSOR is on the second or third character in the name of the column heading. So, for example, if the column heading is "modified," place the JAWS CURSOR on the letter "d" in the word "modified" before clicking the left mouse button. hth Bob For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
