A friend has a Toshiba laptop with Windows7. It has been determined that the USB ports are not working. Is there a way to repair them? He has tried updating the drivers but, gets the message that there are no updates available. He has been told that if deletes something in, Universal Serial Bus controllers, in the Device Manager that when the computer is rebooted it will reinstall something or another. Here is the big question! When you open, Universal Serial Bus controllers, how do you know what to delete!? He only has 2 USB ports & around 9 things are showing in there. I'm sorry about being so vague but, I don't know didly sqwat about this! All help will be immensely appreciated. Thank you very much. Take care.
