Desiree,
I have been using hotspot shield for a couple of weeks now and it has been
working great here at work.
Just for kicks though, I am going to try out what you suggested.
Take care.

Hi,
Accessing programs might be a little tricky once you've connected to Hot
Spot Shield. For example, I could not use AIM when the shield was running. I
guess it wouldn't connect to the AOL server. So what I had to do was connect
Aim and then run Hot Spot Shield. As far as unblocking websites goes, it
works like a charm, although I haven't had to use it in quite some time.
If for whatever reason it doesn't work for you, you can try another similar
program called Ultra Surf. It's free and a google search should turn up a
download link.
