Hello there; forgot one step, After your into the personalize, You need to tab until you hear; Change desktop icons link now press enter. Here you can check the items which you wish to appear on the desktop, Computer, user files, network, ctrl-panel.

If I put a shortcut on the desktop for my documents, but the my documents is still in my folder, is it the same my documents that's just allowing me another way to access it?
