The weirdest part of that whole thing is that now my preview pane
somehow got checked again and Explorer is working fine.
Go figure.

Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Windows Explorer Not Responding
I keep hearing that this is some kind of bug in Windows 7.
You might try the following.
Go to windows explorer.
Tab to organize.
Press applications key.
Go to layout submenu.
Uncheck preview pane.
That fixed my problem.

Windows can check online for a solution. If you restart or close the
program, you might
lose information.
Check for a solution and restart the program.
Close the program.
Wait for the program to respond.
View problem details .
If I click on, check online and restart the program, it shuts down
Windows Explorer and I have to reboot.
If I click on, wait for the program to respond, I have to wait 5
minutes or so and then I can navigate the folder, but only that
folder and if I navigate to a different folder the problem reoccurs.
When I click on, view problem details, I get this message:

I have been having this problem for several months and have tried
Googleing for a solution but haven’t found an answer yet.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
