It works in outlook express but not in outlook 2003, go figure.

I do not understand what is going on with my machine. I read the tatorial
and it does not work for me. There is nothing  alt 1, 1 that I can find that
will work. When I use alt 1 1jaws reads contact name but it immediately goes
away. When I try to select it jaws states selected when I try to copy to the
clipboard nothing is spoken or copied.
As far as insert, shift r, keyboard help only says r so there is nothing
defined for that key combo. The only thing that I can get to work is to back
tab until I can add contact then grab the address.

I did an audio tutorial a few years ago on replying privately on a mailing
list without the use of scripts. It's still on the server in case anybody is
interested in giving it a listen.

I tried your method  but there should be one minor addition.  The Alt
Numbers Row 1 pressed quickly, should be performed while in an open message.
