Hi Mike,
I don't know if this is a dubble post if it is i'm sorry about it.
you can try changing your default provider,
its by going to:
eather via the browser by prissing alt+t & arro up or down to get
manege addones.
or via c panel then internet options, & tab to search default
settings wiches the 2nd settings button,
press it & tab once, to see the search providers you have,
change your default one,
or if you don't have another one there u still can install the google
toolbar and check (make google my default search provider) check mark
,
after done you can uninstall the google toolbar from the programs and
features & u still have it search provider.
hope it fixes it for u.
take care...

Hi.
If you click okay do you get any settings?
If so set them to how you want them and that should take care of that.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Search Provider Error Message In IE8
Hi All,
I keep getting the message below every time I open IE8.
Internet Explorer - Search Provider Default A program on your computer
has
corrupted your default search provider setting for Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer has reset this setting to your original search
provider,
Live Search (search.live.com).
Internet Explorer will now open Search Settings, where you can change
this
setting or install more search providers.
OK
A security scan has been run, & found nothing. Also, there are no
unfamiliar programs installed on this computer. Any ideas on how to
fix
this, pain in the ass, whoops, I mean but! All help will be graciously
accepted! Thanks much, take care.
Mike
