Hi Anna,

What version of Jaws are you running? Did you recently update Internet
Explorer to IE8? After you get out of that error sending message, does IE8
work just fine for you?
Take care.
Mike

  Hi Lauren and Mike,
It seems to be wanting to send an error report every time I open internet
explorer eight for some reason
It use to put up a not responding dialogue first and then it would give me
the dialogue to send an error report and then the next time I opened
internet explorer it would give me the option to go to my home page or
return to the page I was on.
but now it just puts up the dialogue to send an error report.
I always choose send error report but it did not send me back the dialogue
that says thank you for reporting this error and the link so I could enter
to go to the web page to see how I could fix it.
but here is what I found on the dialogue under technical information.I do
not think this is what you need there is also a code number but I can not
seem to select the text with the error code.

  Hi Anna,

What is the error message and how is it that it presents itself? Does it
present itself immediately after IE is started, or is it shown when you
click on a link to show a webpage? Does this happen randomly or every
single
time you launch INTERNET EXPLORER 8?

  Hi Anna,

Below are 2 ways to disable error reporting in IE but first, as Lauren
suggested, please post the error message. you're getting to let the list
  have a look at it.

  1. Open the control panel.
  2. Arrow down to Administrative Tools & press enter.
  3. Press the letter S, for Services, press enter, & tab 1 time to get into
  the list of services.
  4. Press the letter E, for error reporting, & press enter.
  5. Tab to Start-Up Type, arrow down to disable, tab 1 time to Stop, &
press
  the spacebar.
  6. Tab to apply, press the spacebar, tab to okay, press the spacebar, &
Alt
  + F4 your way out.

Error Reports Disabling It Another Way

One feature of Windows XP that most of us can live without is error
reporting. Every time a program crashes it wants to send a report to
  Microsoft. Here's
  how to disable this "feature".

  Click Start

  1. Open Control Panel.

  2. Press enter on System.

  3. Right arrow or control + tab to the Advanced tab.

  4. Tab to the error reporting button at the bottom of the window & press
the
  spacebar.

  5. Arrow down to Disable error reporting.

  6. Tab to OK & press the spacebar.

Now if a program crashes you won't have to wait while an error report is
  sent to Microsoft.

  Take care.
  Mike
