Buy a cheap one; they wear out fast. Put the earphone in one ear only. When you do this (as opposed to using speakers) you will find that you can increase the reading rate of JAWS, or whatever screen reader you use. Having the other ear open will let you hear your phone ring and allow you to hear what is going on around you.
