Hello,
No, when I press the Windows plus b, it sends me to System Tray safely
remove hardware and then after pressing the applications key, there is no
properties nor Customize icons option, but instead printer options, etc. I
never get to Properties nor Notification Chevron because it no longer exists
on the tab or arrows even. I never get to the Customize dialog anywhere.
Somehow I must restore the Notification Chevron before anything normal can
happen again.
I did try exactly what you said though. Do you have any other ideas how I
can restore this Notification Chevron and get rid of the System Tray safely
remove hardware???
Thanks for your help.

tab

What happens when you press Windows + b? This normally places you on the
Notifications chevron in the Notifications Area. If you can still press the
Applications key in the Notifications Area, and find the Customize icons
option, the following should reverse your changes. Once the Customize
dialog appears, press Shift + Tab a few times until you reach a "Restore
default icon behavior" link.
