I like the estate bonuses though I haven't pursued anything beyond 50% as of
now.
A note, be aware that when you do a boost that modifies something via a
percentage (I.E. Salesman +10% sale prices or Master of Stone -10% production
time) those percentages stack. What I mean is that the boost evaluates the
current stat rather than the base stat, so just to keep the math simple, let's
say you're making meat, which produces 1 every 10 seconds. If you chose the
Master Farmer boost once, it'd run the math and give you a 10% speed-up (1 meat
per 9 seconds). But let's say you did it again, another Master Farmer boost. It
would run the math again, for the base stat, and give you a 10% reduction on 9
seconds, meaning you'd get 1 meat every 8.1 seconds. That 10th of a second
doesn't really matter so much, but I wanted to let you guys know about it,
especially because some goods effected by boost take 40 seconds or more to
make, and the difference in timing across multiple slots can unbalance
production schedules, especially if you're running four of the same speed-up
boost.
On the other hand, the salesman boost also stacks, so you're actually getting a
146.41% increase, rather than a straight 140% increase across the board.
Disclaimer, I may be misremembering the exact percentage change of each boost,
but the basic principal holds true, even if my numbers are off.
As a final interesting note, I'm not sure that the Bag of Gold boost is
calculated accurately. I haven't done very many resets, don't ask me why, so my
bag of gold boost is at 800 per minute. The boost length is 25 minutes. Doing
all four slots ought to result in 800*25*4=80,000 gold. However, I locked my
phone, came back, and without selling or finding treasure, I'd gained well over
100,000 gold. Don't know why that
is, but it's neat.
