One thing's for sure. The quest of selling 600,000 logs will take some
time, and the quest of getting 5,000 storage space takes even longer. It
sure costs a munch of bunny!

I personally have never reset with a production quest only half done. I have
reset without ever starting them though. I think it was I who asked on audio
games about what happens if you reset with a production not filled. Someone
thought it did reset. the ones that don't are the storage, production,
boosts, and gold in bank. But if the production ones don't reset that's
pretty good to know. not quite sure why anyone would reset and just not
finish a production quest is beyond me. But oh well.
As for those automation quests. What I did was after all was said and done,
before resetting, I used real estate mogul (4 boosts) and bought a bunch of
slots and then used the remaining gold to buy the automations. It really
made those quests go fast.
I personally dont think I ever used the salesman boost. It seemed to me that
I got more gold by boosting the production and selling that. plus it made my
quests fill faster.

From my experience unfinished quests do not reset to 0 if you cash in
finished quests. So, if you have a quest to sell 25000 grain, but
have only sold 10000 grain when you cash in the rest of your quests,
the grain quest will still be at 10000 when you come back after the
reset. Unfinished quests do not reset, at least none I have seen so
far do. I tend to let the automation quests run over multiple resets,
making it less expensive to get them, though taking longer. I have
the 100 automation quest right now, and will be resetting with only 26
completed. After next reset I should be able to add in an additional
25 automations, bringing me up to 51 on that quest.
