Tyler,
Actually you won't even need to "hop in" to get the free month. All
accounts had a free month credited to them, and if they've used it up here in
April, the free month will be credited back to their account on May first. If
someone decides not to actually sign in to play multiplayer during May, then
their free month will remain until they do choose to use it. If someone signs
in during May, that month will be activated just like a normal non-free month,
so make sure you only sign in if you intend to use it that month. Hopefully my
reply makes sense, haha! I feel like I worded that in a weird way.
Both Swamp and Castaways 2 run off of the same accounts, so the free month
applies to both games. If you activate it by playing multiplayer Castaways 2,
it is the same as if you had signed into Swamp's multiplayer. To the system,
it doesn't really care which game you use, it's all about the account being
used on Something.
I'm sorry to hear he's getting runtime errors on Castaways 2. C2 is only in a
somewhat rough beta version, so there are plenty of places it still needs work.
On some machines it runs beautifully, and on others it gives people problems.
One of these days I'd love to sit down and iron out an official non-beta
version of C2.

players try it.
Hello! As an addendum to the previous question. Does it matter if I jump in
May (thus grabbing the free month) and waiting until, say, July or August
before I grab the free month that was already granted, if that makes any remote
sense? Does the new castaways also get this or is it only if you sign into
swamp? A friend of mine was curious about that but since he's getting runtime
errors all over the place it's a moot point for right now.
thank you so much for continuing development. That's a lot of time you
undoubtedly put into this since the crash and I for one give you huge props.
thank you again.
