Hi,

Really mean no offense by the following, but if you had even taken 2 seconds to
literally type retroarch into google, this is what would have resulted, on the
first page, from the first result. Please, please take the time to do even a
minimal amount of research.

Is Retroarch a emulator? Where can I find info on this?

Also, make sure you go to online updater, then Core updater, and press Enter on
the core for the system you want, like Sony PSP: PPSSPP, to get it. Then you
can load the game for it.

Oh, sorry, Shaolin Monks is not accessible. Did I say that it was before?

I have two Roms. One is dissidia_-_final_fantasy. The other is a Mortal Kombat
game, Mortal Kombat - Shaolin Monks. both are Iso files, but i believe one is a
Playstation 2 and the other may be Playstation PSP.

I will try and load them and see what happens.

You simply load the ROM file. For example, if the game is Mortal Kombat, on a
Nintendo 64, the file might be called mortal kombat.Z64. If it were a PSP game,
it’d be Mortal Kombat.iso. So, just find what the ROM is called in file
explorer, and load that. If the ROM has many files, like the Play Station
games, load the .cue file. What game for what system are you trying to load?

Once the Rom has been extracted, which file from the Rom do we load to start
game play, however?

This is where a beginners or newbies tutorial would be so nice.

Okay, so for where to put ROMs, you can put them anywhere, just find that
location when you “load content” which is how you load games. Once you load it
for the first time, though, you can arrow left and you’ll find the recent games
in the “horizontal menu.

For OCR, you must set up the AI service, and set a key, or game controller
press of a button or multiple buttons, to activate it. It is similar to OCR in
screen readers.

Is accessibility mode supposed to read the game menus? Or do you have to
configure that AI mode.

Hi,

When I installed Retroarch, I pressed Alt+Enter on the desktop shortcut
that was created. Then, in the target box, I added the word
--accessibility to the end of the target path. This worked for me.

The OCR seems to be in real time.

I could use a lot of advice though on how to install and/or load Rom's,
etc. since perhaps Roms is a bit of a touchy subject, If anyone can
maybe guide me through this off list, it would be great? Folks can
contact me at:

I think an absolute beginners tutorial or podcast specifically devoted
to those of us using Accessibility, maybe taking a person through the
initial install, configuration, and installing and running a Rom would
be a nice thing to have? Especially since this is very new for many of us.

How do you turn on the accesibility mode? Also where do you put the rums?
Do the ocr work in real time? Or is it like the screen reader ocr?
