Well there is a version of it called peg chess.
The black pieces have spiked heads the white ones do not, and the spike
for the black bits is in the middle.
There is a board with holes in it and you can play that.
The board is the size of the normal board maybe a little smaller.
You have 2 choices on that.
1. buy it.
Probably not possible with lockdown.
On the other hand all you need are the instructions and your blind org
equipment shop may have them or something, you then can make the set
yourself its all out of wood so you probably can build it.
If you are in lockdown you probably have time.
There are various programs on the computer, I think qentenc gameroom and
rsgames client have it in there.
There was winbuard and gnuchess but thats about all.
If you can aquire the old morris ashly teaches chess or chessmaster 6000
disks then you can play chess but not sure on accessibility.
There was a program called gnuchess but its old.
If your equipment service still functions maybe you can buy peg chess.
Thats probably your best shot right now.
On that note, this is probably out of date.
I havn't played chess since my teenaged years.
I actually ironically do have a set of peg chess here.
If it were not for this lockdown, I'd probably ship it to you, but you
would have to pay me for the shipping, the game is languishing in
storage and when I finally move out I will have to get rid of a lot of
stuff I don't play now.
I never got the art of chess myself.

When I said to Neil why can't you show me? He replied that Chess is
mainly visual.
So my question is is it possible to learn and play Chess if your
totally blind like myself?
