I’m really sorry you seem to be having issues running Sable, one of my friends runs windows 8.1 so I sent him a copy of Sable last night and he’s text me back this morning and said its running fine on his machine. The only other thing I could suggest is trying to download Sable again, in case something happened during the download process to corrupt the exe file, I don’t see how that could have happened, but I guess its worth a try. The other thing you could try, since it seems to be a permissions error you are receiving , try maybe running sable from a different folder from where you are currently trying to run it from. Really hope you manage to get this sorted and up and running. (Page 4) - New releases room - AudioGames.net Forum I have no problem running other bgt apps on my machine, I don't have issues with virus complaints, (mostly because I use an off the wall virus checker I can't remember the name of at the moment, but it's one that farms out their virus engine to various other virus makers, and there are several products using it's engine, so I don't fee the slightest bit exposed by using it. Compiling and running bgt code on it's own gives me no issues. On the other hand, I do seem to have troubles with programs on a semi-regular basis nobody else seems to have. For instance, sophos home wouldn't install on my machine using their installer, I had to extract it and run the individual parts. (I've since removed that product though). I do have some antispyware programs running, as well as a webcam blocker, but those have never interfered with my ability to run programs, so... <shrug> Guess I'll just have to wait for another version then, to see if it works or not. I haven’t seen any other queries of this nature come in from people using Sable on the forums or people from our social media channels. It sounds less like a BGT issue, more like something to do with your permissions settings. Usually when I’m running other programs and see that message I hit enter and windows continues the installation. The error I get is: Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. This happens even when I try running it as administrator. The compatibility wizard also doesn't help any. Suggestions?
